Tina Smith moved to the Charleston area from Arizona in 2017. She was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, and was married to her husband for over 28 years before his passing. She has raised two sons and has three grandsons. She loves to travel and shop for antiques. She also enjoys hiking with her three fur babies Peaches, Dixie, and Hammy the handsome hound.
Her strong love for animals, especially dogs, led her to a grooming career after raising her two boys. She graduated from a grooming academy in 2008 after completing over 200 grooms before receiving her degree as a Professional Pet stylist. She also has a certification in safe handling and grooming.
It is her goal to provide a safe, fear-free, calm environment for your pet during its grooming session. She specializes with senior pets who have sore joints and difficulty standing, and with puppies who are new to the grooming experience. Her motto is, “humanity over vanity and no force grooming allowed”. She feels that the pet’s safety takes priority over the pet’s appearance. Tina promises to treat your pets as if they are her own and to show them lots of love and respect. Grooming is like art – your pet will be the canvas – and as the artist, she will make them beautiful with her gentle touch and talent.
