Dr. Courtney Asbaty is originally from South Carolina and grew up on Pawley's Island.
After graduating from the University of South Carolina for her undergrad, Dr, Asbaty attended St. George's University in Grenada for her Veterinary degree. Even as a child, she had her sights set on becoming a Veterinarian, and in the 5th grade, she began shadowing at a local vet clinic. Dr. Asbaty continued to shadow at that same hospital throughout her teen years and never lost her passion for helping animals.
Dr. Asbaty has a furry duo at home, including 3-year-old Storm (the "fastest dog alive"), and 2-year-old Rocket the schnauzer. Rocket's favorite pastime is hoarding toys out of reach from Storm!
The doctor loves to travel, cook, paint, and read when she isn't at work. When the weather is especially nice, she enjoys pool time with her husband or relaxing on her back porch with the dogs.
