Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and technical staff on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any emergency your pet has. Emergencies can be things such as rat poison ingestion, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.
We offer a wide range of surgical procedures from spaying and neutering to more advanced oral and orthopedic procedures. We take pride in keeping up with the latest advancements in veterinary pain control, comfort and safety.
We keep up with the latest advancements in anesthesia safety by using a ventilator to regulate breathing, oxygen saturation monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, and administration of IV fluids to regulate blood pressure.
All surgery patients will receive anxiety medication to help keep them calm.
All surgery patients will receive anti-nausea medication to keep them from feeling any nausea while waking up from anesthesia. If you have ever undergone an anesthetic procedure you will know that nausea can be a major problem!
Advanced Pain Management is provided for all surgery patients which may include injectable and/or oral pain medication and pain patches.
College Park Road Veterinary Clinic offers discounted services to senior citizens, military, EMT and first responder's, Boeing and local area rescue groups. Pre-approval is required to qualify for the rescue group discounts, please call us for more information.
